Job Description

Sales Development Managers are the frontline representatives of the company, we are brand ambassadors, and the customers first personal interaction with Pluralsight. How you show up to these conversations impacts how tech leaders view our company and platform.

The SDR role is the ideal training ground for aspiring Account Executives at Pluralsight. Team members are developed to be current and future leaders as well as future Account Executives. SDRs are passionately coached, mentored, and trained to become world class sales representatives.

As an SDR manager you will be leading a team of 5-10 SDRs, booking Inbound and Outbound demos for our SMB and Enterprise AEs.

  • SDRs don’t need a manager, they need a coach. Show us how you can coach your SDRs to hit their number.
  • Ability to hire and develop talent.
  • Sales is tough, the numbers and quota are real. Show us you can handle difficult conversations and handle conflict.
  • You will be working for Pluralsight on the GitPrime sales team, reporting directly to CRO.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven track record of being successful in sales.
  • AE experience is a plus
  • Pluralsight employee or customer a plus
  • Management experience a plus
  • Training or coaching experience is a plus.

Experience you'll need:

  • Ideally one year experience in Sales Development, Lead Generation, Sales, and/or Marketing
  • Ideally 2 years of experience in solution-oriented Selling or Prospecting within B2B environments (Preferred)
  • Proven track record achieving measurable inside sales goals in an automated sales environment where accurate entry and management of lead data in a CRM system is required
  • Ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment; team player
  • High volume cold-calling experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate with senior level decision makers required, both verbal and written
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
  • A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible lead follow-up and sales development at multiple executive levels within an organization; experience with B2B sales is required
  • Proficient in using, LinkedIn
  • Have a work hard/play hard mentality and thrive in a start-up environment
